RESULTS FOR THE FIRST NINE MONTHS OF 2000
October 16, 2000 - Breakwater Resources Ltd.'s unaudited consolidated net earnings for the nine month period ended September 30, 2000 were $15.9 million ($0.19 per share) on gross sales revenue of $243.8 million compared with net earnings of $19.4 million ($0.25 per share) on gross sales revenue of $194.3 million for the same period in 1999.
