TORONTO, April 23, 2001 - Breakwater Resources Ltd. will Webcast, on a live, listen-only basis, its next regularly scheduled conference call covering its first quarter financial and operating results for the period ended March 31, 2001. This Webcast will be available through a separate third party webcasting service, Q1234.com.
The conference call will begin at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) on Thursday, May 3, 2001. The conference call will review Breakwater's first quarter financial and operating results for the period ended March 31, 2000. The Company's news release covering these results will be released prior to the conference call on Wednesday, May 2, 2001 and will be available on the Company's website at www.breakwater.ca .
The scheduled speakers on the conference call will be Gordon F. Bub, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Colin K. Benner, President and Chief Operating Officer and René R. Galipeau, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. The conference call may, but not necessarily will, include forward-looking statements.
In order to access this Webcast, any person having a computer and Internet access who is interested in listening to the conference call should enter www.q1234.com or www.breakwater.ca and test their system at least five minutes prior to the scheduled start for the call.
