BREAKWATER REPORTS FIRST QUARTER RESULTS
May 8, 2003 - Breakwater Resources Ltd. reported consolidated net earnings of $69,000 ($0.00 per share) for the first quarter ended March 31, 2003 on gross sales revenue of $52.9 million compared with a consolidated net loss of $3.3 million ($0.03 loss per share) on gross sales revenue of $64.5 million for the same period in 2002.
