BREAKWATER REPORTS SECOND QUARTER RESULTS AND DECREASE IN DEBT
August 8, 2003 - Breakwater Resources Ltd. reported unaudited consolidated net earnings for the quarter ended June 30, 2003 of $10.8 million ($0.05 per share) on gross sales revenue of $61.7 million compared with consolidated earnings of $2.3 million ($0.01 per share) on gross sales revenue of $60.9 million for the same period in 2002.
