BREAKWATER REPORTS FINANCIAL AND OPERATING RESULTS FOR THE INTERIM PERIOD ENDED JUNE 30, 2004
August 3, 2004 - The Company realized significantly higher net earnings of $4.4 million during the second quarter of 2004 compared with a net loss in the same period of 2003 of $1.1 million, before the one time gain of $10.3 million on the sale of the Lapa Properties in June of 2003. For the first six months of 2004 the Company realized net earnings of $6.6 million compared with a net loss of $2.6 million in the same period of 2003 before the gain on the sale of the Lapa Properties.
