- May 11, 2006 - The financial and operating results in the first quarter of 2006 were notable for the following reasons: • Net earnings increased to $38.9 million in 2006 from $4.1 million in 2005, 2006 includes an income tax recovery of $27.2 million that was setup for the Myra Falls mine in the quarter.
