September 17, 2007… Breakwater Resources Ltd. (“Breakwater”)(TSX-BWR) is pleased to announce that Standard & Poor’s Canadian Index Operations announced on Friday, September 14, 2007 that Breakwater would be included in the S&P/TSX Composite Index as a result of the Quarterly S&P/TSX Composite Index Review effective at the open on Monday, September 24, 2007.
Breakwater is a mining, exploration and development company which produces and sells zinc, copper, lead and gold concentrates to customers around the world. The Company's concentrate production is derived from the Langlois and Myra Falls mines located in Canada, the Toqui mine located in Chile and the Mochito mine located in Honduras.
